Emergencies ‘out of hours’
If you are a registered patient at 207 Dental Care and have an emergency when the practice is closed, then please see the information below. If you have a severe swelling or uncontrollable bleeding then please go straight to the A&E department of your local hospital.

NHS Patients

Private, Denplan Patients
If you are a non-NHS patient, registered at 207 Dental Care and need emergency treatment at weekends or Bank Holidays then please telephone the surgery and leave a clear message on the answer machine, with your contact details, before 10am. A dentist will then contact you. If it is necessary for the dentist to re-open the surgery there will be a call-out fee.

Failed appointment policy

If you are unable to keep your appointment please let us know as soon as possible so that we can use the appointment for another patient. Please ensure that you give 24 hrs notice if you cannot attend your appointment, as a charge may be made for any failed appointments/late cancellations.

If, in a 2 year period, you miss an appointment or give less than 24 hours’ notice on two occasions, we may not be able to complete your treatment or offer you NHS care in the future.

Weight limits on our dental chairs
The limit for our dental chairs is as follows:
Surgery 1 22 stone
Surgery 2 21 stone

We have a duty to ensure your safety and therefore we cannot offer treatment at 207 Dental Care to anybody who may exceed these limits. We can however arrange for treatment to be carried out in a specialist unit. If you have any concerns we would be happy to discuss this in a confidential setting.
