Facial Aesthetics FAQ

Yes, dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle injections are safe. Done properly, they subtly enhance your most attractive features and minimise less desirable ones — think of the outcome as you but on a good day.
We feel it’s an extension of our role, which we see as helping our patients look and feel better about themselves in a safe and responsible way. You couldn’t do much better than a cosmetic dental practice if you’re looking for safe facial aesthetics. We comply with strict CQC rules on standards of practice, and our dentists have an in depth understanding of facial muscles, skin types, nerve supply and the underlying anatomical framework.
Our facial aesthetic treatments subtly enhance your features, making your skin appear smoother and more younger looking. Anyone can benefit, including men and women of diverse age groups. Contact us today for a consultation.
Any injection can hurt, but the needles used for Botox injections are very small, so pain is usually minimal. The area can be numbed with a topical anesthetic cream or cold pack 10-20 minutes before the injections are given, so you may not feel much pain, if any. You may feel a little discomfort later, once the anesthetic cream has worn off.
In most cases, patients can see a real difference after just one treatment. This is because botulinum toxin works gradually, smoothing and softening lines and wrinkles for up to four months. We will advise you on how many treatments you’re likely to need and how often, depending upon the results you’d like to achieve. With dermal fillers the effects can be seen immediately and can be expected to last for up to one year after treatment.
