How does it work?

Rather than being made specifically for you from impressions of your mouth (as porcelain veneers are) componeers are ready-made from composite in a range of shapes, sizes and colours. We will carefully select the right componeers for you which can be fitted directly to the surface of your existing teeth.

Once fitted they are adjusted and polished as required to give a natural, beautiful look that will blend in with the rest of your teeth.

How do componeers compare to porcelain veneers

Although composite is generally not as strong as porcelain, your componeers still offer a highly durable and cost-effective way of improving the look of your teeth. With good care your componeers could last anywhere between five and ten years. Componeers can be repaired more easily than porcelain and can often be significantly refurbished with a polish.
